Rosalind Riley has been involved in Production work since 2000, mainly with the Lions part. Some of her previous work is detailed below:

October 2005: THE RAPE OF LUCRECE (c. 1608) by Thomas Heywood
Fully staged reading for the Lions part at the Priory Church of St Bartholomew the Great. 15 actors and musicians. A new version of the text edited by co-producer. In conjunction with an academic conference co-produced by the University of London Centre for Metropolitan Studies. Also acted as co-administrator, including production of programme and all print, booker, casting director. Cast included Linda Bassett.

2003 YOU'VE FINGERED IT... The Jammy Tarts
A cabaret/theatre piece for the Pleasance Theatre at the Edinburgh Festival. Assistant to the producer, dealing with print, publicity and logistics. Also performing.

2001: DOCTOR FAUSTUS, The Rose Theatre/the Lions part
A staged rehearsed reading on the archaeological remains of the Rose Theatre in Southwark, starring Anton Lesser and David Bradley. The first time in 400 years that Marlowe’s words had been performed on this spot. Also performing.

A SLEEP OF PRISONERS / LILLIES ON THE LAND
A tour for the Lions part of churches in Greater London of Christopher Fry’s church-based play and a newly-devised piece based on letters solicited from former members of the Women’s Land Army. Funding obtained from London Arts Lottery Fund (ie the Arts Council).

September 2000: OLDE SUMMERS' WAKES AND REVELS, Shakespeare’s Globe
A full-scale one-off show for the Lions part comprising The Olde Wives Tale and Summer’s Last Will and Testament, a masque by Thomas Nabbes. Also as performer.

Summer 2000: THE FESTIVAL OF MANN 2000
A festival of theatre for the Isle of Man, by the Lions part. (“Mann” is a traditional spelling.) Professionally-cast plays included a site-specific promenade production of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night for Castle Rushen; the mediaeval comedy Gammer Gurton’s Needle at two outdoor venues; and a newly-commissioned musical, The Story of Mann…And All That, with music by a local composer, acted by a mixed professional and community cast outdoors at Peel Castle (in collaboration with Legends Travel, Peel). In addition, a festival of storytelling in various venues across the Island; a Sonnet Walk through Douglas town; and a poetry reading. Also as a performer.
